Low beams don't work but high beams do

Hi I recently installed new halo HID headlights in my 2003 f150 with HID bulbs and ballast the passenger side worked and the drivers side didn't nth lights wired exactly the same. I switched everything from the passenger to the drivers side still nothing I switched everything back to passenger side and they don't work now. I tired regular bulbs in the passenger side an it worked then on the drivers side and it worked for a split second and went out and then I retried t on the passenger side and it worked for a spilt second and went out a now neither are working. I checked all the fuses and their good. Any suggestions to what the problem could be? Thanks in advance for the help.

Check the common ground points for these circuits.
Good luck.

Follow the black leads.
You can even supply temporary grounds as a way to see if loss of ground is the cause.
Make good use of voltmeters and Ohm meters to do supporting testing.
Good luck.

The left and right low beams each have their own fuse. Check fuses F26 & F28 under the dash.

If the fuses are not blown, check the interface between the original wiring and whatever clusterf**k came with the HID kit. You may have gotten bad connectors that damaged your original ones when they were plugged together.

I would add a jumper wire from the negative side of battery to the black wire in the plug at one light.. Intermittent operation is often a bad ground.
