Looking for keyed power
I am looking for some some wires that supply power when the key is turned on for upfitters in an F650 dash. I messaged Clay from RiffRaff and he suggested using wires from the customer accessory power bundle, but IIRC those wires are blunt cut in the engine bay so I am not sure how they could only work with the key on. The only wire that I know works with key on is the one that I used for my high idle switch (white wire w/ blue tracer), but I think that would have been too light to run any kind of lighting powered by a switch.

I think I found a way to make it work. I just need to find one keyed power wire that is heavy gauge and use a fuse block like this. Robot Check I

You could always run your own wire off the battery into the cab and use a solinoid to switch the wire on and off. To pull a koeo low amp signal wire you could look to the radio harness or something under the hood that is only hot when the truck is keyed on to activate the solinoid.

All four of the up fitter switches are powered by circuits that are switched by the key. Here is some more info:
