Key-On, Accessory Power?? Help
I am needing to tap into a key-on, acc power source. Where can a lead to do it? I am in the middle of an install and realized I forgot to ask last night. Thx

I don't know what to tell you right now other than it is much easier to find a key-on power than a constant power source. I usually use a meter or test light and start with the red wires and look until I find one.

Look here for the wire you need.
click here . This is off wireing the gauges in.
Under the dash there is a customer wire that you can use. It is labled just like that.

I use fuse #13 I think is- it's the one that is on the far right side, 3rd from the bottom. It's the one that powers the vacuum pump. I use it for my air compressor solenoid so the pump will only run when the ignition is on.

Why that's the "if you need an extra wire look here" plug.
