Glad to help.
A little more info to complete the picture.
In the choke housing mount there is a small passage to the carb throat.
This creates a vacuum signal that pulls cool air into the housing through the bottom inlet to keep the bimetal nice and cozy. On your carb you have a nice fresh air source to attach the inlet to.
On other carbs and with no fresh air source you leave it open to the engine compartment.
Makes total since now, when I rebuilt it, I saw the vacuum port for the choke housing because I put a fresh cork seal on it. While I was putting it back together I kept thinking "why is there vacuum here?", now I know!
One way to tell if you have a 410 or 428 is to crawl under the truck and check the back side of the flywheel. If there is a counterweight on the flywheel it's a 410 or 428. All the other FE engines are internally balanced.
If you were really fortunate and had a Super Cobra Jet with the Le Mans rods, you would also have another counterweight behind the crankshaft balancer.

Welcome to FTE, here is a new users tip on using the Advanced Search, not the big search box in the middle.
Do you see the blue line with User CP, Albums, FAQ? See the SEARCH on that line?
It has a drop down search menu arrow, go to the "Advanced Search" option, top left side (search block) type in there what you are looking for and then go to the lower right column and highlight 73-79 forum. Select it and then you will have a detailed search just in the 73-79 forums.
Ck your fuses? Yes the diagram and legend is for a 78 fuse box but it will get you started.
Got it Running! Mounted the carb, adjusted the floats, set the idle mixture screws (pulling 20 inches of vacuum), set the idle screw, adjusted the kick down linkage, confirmed the electric choke works and ball parked it’s setting. Have few little details to work out. Need to fix the throttle linkage, I used a temp fitting and I need to get the right size pivot post to use the OEM linkage. I’ll have to set the final linkage so the butterfly’s fully open and WOT.
Also need to sort out the PCV hose to carb fitting, not a big deal but it needs to be fixed. I was able to take for a little test drive up and down a nearby side street. It ran pretty good, better than expected! Two more jobs to do and it’ll be streetable, got to sort out the gas tanks, the fuel gauge and related wiring. Not sure what all went on but a functioning gas gauge is a must have LOL! The other job is the radial arm bushings, ones completely gone and the other is falling out. After those two jobs are done, this truck is ready to be pressed back into service carrying household loads to and fro!
