Shift boot
63 flare side, 4 on floor - did this truck have a boot on the shifter? If not, I think one would look ok - any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

A shift boot takes the fun out of driving an old truck! You'll miss the noise and the smell of the oil and exhaust smoke not to mention the heat in the summer or the freezing cold in the winter.
Shift boots are available from the online catalog guy's of your choice. They don't cost a bunch either.
Good luck...

No.
None listed for the T-98 4 speed in the 1957/63 & 1964/72 Ford truck parts catalogs. I looked in Carpenter's 1957/66 truck catalog, none listed there either.

There is a thread from 2013 on the shifter boots, use one from a later model into the 70's.

JC Whitney has some but they are universal.
Some on eBay also here...

Thanks for info - I think a generic product will work. Btw - I'm almost ready to post pics of my f100 - as soon as I get the wheels back on!
