My saved notes on checking IPR with a meter

Pull out the middle PCM connector and ohm out pin #2 of the PCM connector (yellow with red stripe coloured wire) to the positive terminal of the driver side battery at key-on/engine-off. A good IPR should read about 6.0 ohms.

GREAT INFO THANKS

Is 14.4% IPR at KOEO the same????

That only shows what the PCM COMMANDS. Whether or not the IPR is doing what is commanded might be

Hmmm - the resistance should be between 3 and 15 IIRC.

Did you check it between pin 1 and pin 2 on the component (IPR)?

I'm seeing 5.9 to 6 ohms on ipr not 100 % sure I'm testing it right..

early or late 04? What is the IPR and ICP while cranking hot? Every failed IPR I have seen has failed on the mechanical side, not the electric. A hot no start on a 03 or early 04 is usually a pump problem, and late 04 and 05+ is usually a standpipe/dummy plug problem.

Late 04. I've replaced hpop, ipr, icp, d-plugs, stand pipes, nipple cup orings and injector seals. At hot crank ipr almost closed 83.9 % and icp 6.8. It starts and runs like a brand new truck from cold start just won't hot start..

With that list there are only really two things
left. Bad branch tube or a bad O-ring in one
of the newly installed parts.
