true...too much plastic, plumbing, wiring, etc... can't even see the block, unless you get under the truck..but they still could atleast spray a cheap coat of grey, or black on it...unless they left it plain for cooling reasons or something?
Just a update. 37 days and ford still can't seem to get all the parts needed to start putting the motor back together! Seems pretty pathetic that they sent a short block instead of a long block witch I kinda excepted but wasn't happy with and the dealer has had it for at least 3 weeks now waiting for the rest of the parts. And nothing against the dealer mechanics today but I think they are expecting a lot from someone that has to call a hotline before they can do anything, they are really parts changers and that's what the mfg want! Anyway hope the finished product is as good as new
Did you let Crystal know all your info. Has the situation been escalated? I would be pissed if that was my truck and my main means of earning an income as well.

Thanks for the updates, Bobmurp1. As an FYI, my offer to assist still stands. If you'd like to get me involved, send me a private message (PM) with your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership. I'll escalate this to your regional customer service manager so they can help.
