Start problem.

Start problem.
OK so I was setting at a stop light rev up my motor and it dies. Look under the hood and my negative cable is melted in half. And my brand new motor craft solenoid blew. Got a new post.and it will turn over jumping the solenoid but won't start. So any ideas tired of replacing solenoids. 88 f250 460
