A/C blower problems

2002 f150 2wd 4.6L Auto trans. My A/C blower would only work on high. No biggie, HIGH was fine I live in Florida. I was going to change the resistor but foolishly never got around to it. Today was a rainy cool day and after driving with it on high for a while I switched it to med-high for a break. Now it won't work on any setting. Should I replace the resistor before I start troubleshooting? What would be the most likely cause?

most likely cause is the resistor. You know its bad. Change it out, and if still problems, check for good ground and +12 volts at resistor.

Took the resistor out and one of the four posts was melted and it burned a hole in the white plastic power adaptor. I checked all 4 Lines no voltage. Where do I find the relay and fuses. There must be more than one fuse in that circuit that could prevent the blower from working. 2002 f150 XLT 4.6
