Those are neat! Maybe I am among the minority, but I kind of like the amber marker light, I think it looks good with my mirror and roof lights.
I like these because they match my LED headlights. Also, I like that when they are off they don't have that amber reflection, much like my stealth bulbs too.

I too really liked the concept when I first saw it and rushed to get a pair because I've always thought Ford parking lamp where too dim and like the idea of those lamps being used as more of a DRL. I installed the same lights as you but pulled them back out for 2 reasons, I didn't have led headlamps so the whites didn't match AND the amber turns were not bright enough in the daytime. I think I would consider a re-install with amber/amber if I could get them brighter.

I never noticed a problem with the amber not being bright enough. Did you have 05 headlights?
No, 2008 which has a huge reflective surface...thats what stuck me as odd that the output sucked. The white what plenty bright but the amber(which was the same number of LEDs) was approx half the brightness of the stock bulb. I didn't like the mismatched whites of the LEDs and my headlights anyway so I'm still looking for an AMBER/AMBER set up...I prefer the amber DRL look and functionality as they show up better in the daytime.
