Hey all. Time for new tires and I want to go a little bigger but not sure how much more I can go with stock suspension. I have a e99 f350 4x4 currently I'm running 285/75r16 tires. I'm curious if I can go bigger with the stock suspension or if that's the biggest I can go with my stock height.
I guess it has a lot to do with your definition of what "fits." I have an e99 F250 4x4, and when I bought it, it had 36" Super Swampers on it with stock suspension. They "fit" but rubbed when turning.
I'm not sure what the front suspension differences are between a 250 and a 350 in the e99 style, but- on the 250, the rear of the truck sits A LOT higher than the front- from the factory. Does your 350 sit like this also? If so, a leveling kit to bring the front up would give more tire clearance.
Since the e99 250 and 350 use the same rear blocks- IF your truck is level front-to-back (meaning, if your front sits higher than mine), I'd say 285's wouldn't be a problem at all.
Yes my 350 does sit like that. I am currently running the 285's and was just curious if that's as big as I can go without anything rubbing. I'm not completely sure what makes the 350 different from the 250 but they are quite similar from what I've seen
