Door latch mechanisms
I have a few questions about door latch mechanisms. My questions mainly have to do with the front doors, but would appreciate the same info for rear extended cab and crew doors as well...
1) Is there any place (other than the dealer) where these can be purchased?
2) Are they the same through the entire Super Duty run, or are there specific ones for specific years?
My passenger-front latch is toast, no amount of soaking it with penetrating fluid has helped. I just want to change it out. My driver side rear (extended cab, lower) is completely froze and I can't even open the door. I still have yet to get it open...
