IPR gen 2 EGR delete kit. If you are tearing it down to the block go with the up pipe option.

Make sure to use the factory oil cooler. Stay away from the Dorman replacement.

Disassemble the turbo and clean it.

If $ is no object go ahead and get the aftermarket HPOP (the name slips my mind atm) that a few folks go with and seem to love it.

Replace the dummy plugs and stand pipes with the latest ones from Ford.

Do the blue spring fuel regulator kit from Ford. It will keep your injectors healthy!

Heads should be checked for cracks and milled. Make sure you find the best shop you can and do not be afraid to drive if you have to. I have no problem driving a few hours to get the best machine work.

It might be a good idea to do a water pump while you have it down also.

A coolant filter would be a good idea also.

IS that enough for you atm? lol

Thanks. Does help. I already have blue spring. Can get oem gaskets, dummy plugs , stand pipes and oil cooler at dealer cost. My neighbor was a ford diesel mechanic married to owners daughter so access to good help is 2 houses away.
