Alright guys, still haven't fixed my fan issue and I'm already onto bigger problems. I'm leaking a pretty decent amount of oil, which seems to vary from day to day in amounts but never stops. As far as I can tell it's leaking down the sides and back of the block and bell housing. Starts at the top of the bell housing and runs all the way down as well as seeping down and dripping out of the flex plate. Would everybody agree this has to be a RMS?

The thing is it's not from the very top of the motor. It's just from the top of the bell housing down. I already considered the sender and I have looked and felt all around it and there's not a drop of oil.

is it turbocharged? is so it could be the oil drain back hole.i thought my rear main was leaking too but i had to just punch the holes in the valley pan to let the oil drain back faster and it cured the oil leak.
it's not a valve cover casket?
Sorry so late getting back guys, and thanks for the replies. No it's not a turbo truck. I'm only 17 and working part time outside of high school so I can't afford one yet.
I must say I checked in to the oil sender on top of the engine even though I thought I had before... I didn't realize the metal adapter that threads into the block was so long and I did actually discover it was oil soaked along with the surrounding area. I bought high temp. high pressure thread sealer so I'm going to seal and reassemble after the dew burns off this morning. We'll see what happens then.

And yes Chevy_Eater as a matter of fact I do have an IP leak. The plate on the side of my pump. The fuel pump was turned up for a while but there was too much smoke, and too much heat so I turned it back. Cleared the smoke, made it run cooler, and it actually leaned it out and woke the truck up a little more. Since doing this the gasket on the cover on the side of the pump is more a less shot and it's slowly leaking. This has also been on my list of things to do today. I suppose this could explain why the oil appears to be such large quantities right? The fuel added to the oil just makes it seem like even more than it is.
