I have an 2011 6.7 that has a h&s tuner. Lately my transmission seems to be confused about what gear it should be in when I'm driving about 45mph. It will sometime downshift hard. Has anyone else experienced this? I have a early build 2011 and heard that it could be a solenoid problem with the transmission. Thanks for the help
Mine occasionally does that when the transmission fluid isn't warm and I'm very light on the throttle. Its always done it with H&S's transmission tuning however.

It does do it then. It happens when I'm driving about 50mph in 6th gear and slowly ease out of the throttle. I called H&S and the told me to do an update on the software. I had also heard it could be a transmission solenoid.
Did you do the transmission solenoid tsb yet? Do you also have the delay to shift from Park to Drive or Reverse at times?
I've never noticed any delay. I have not gotten the solenoid replaced. Maybe if my dealer is tuner friendly I can get them to look at it. It doesn't do it all the tome
That was the problem with mine, it would be bad and then it was sense I was going to the dealer and it would quit doing it. Must be the same damn GPS sensor that knows when I am getting ready to pull into my driveway so it starts a regen.
Crystal,
My truck has 49,000 miles. Do you know the TSB?
Thanks
