I ran low yesterday, to the point the truck was spitting and sputtering when given fuel. I made it to the station and threw some fuel in. My question, is there anything that I need to be concerned about? It has run fine since then.

Yes, don't make a habit of running it out of fuel as low fuel pressure is the leading cause of injector damage.
May not be a bad idea to pull the HFCM lower fuel filter and check it's condition.....or change both filters if it's been awhile.
I just changed them about 3500 miles ago after having to clean it out due to the pink slime. I'll pull it this weekend and see how nasty it is. Luckily I don't drive the truck very much.
I'm not sure I'd call that lucky. It's always a pleasure to drive mine around...that is when it's running perfect.
I do have a car when running errands, allowing to park like normal people, just not as fun. Get out of the way!
This is true. But I have a company F250(with the pitiful 6.2) that I drive everyday for work. so the truck just gets used for picking up the kid. I love driving mine and do so every chance I get!
