Low Sulfur versus Ultra-Low Sufur fuel.

I'm traveling from Alaska to Seattle, and thru Canada I have had to use Low Sulfur fuel instead of Ultra-Low Sulfur fuel. Will this cause any future problems with my 6.7 PSD?

It would be a good trick for you to have gotten anything but ULSF anywhere in Canada. It's been illegal to sell for on or off road use (exception marine and train use) anywhere in Canada for years. In addition in British Columbia you will get 4% biodiesel in your fuel, which is excellent for lubricity and quite good for your truck. In most of Canada the fuel is 2% bio, per Federal law, but some provinces have a slightly higher regulation.

I'm in Nova Scotia now, but until a few years ago was in Dundas Ontario. I add nothing to my fuel.

Thanks, I did not know that. the pumps were labeled LSF, so just assumed it was. Funny that I got better MPG and longer time between regens with the Canadian fuel.

they are marked LSF because they never changed the stickers.
i think you got better MPG and regen times with the canadian fuel because it is probably a higher cetane rating.
