O/D light and trans

2006 f150 5.4 4x4 overdrive light and alarm stays on and Transmission jerks when down shifting.

Since you got no replies, your in the wrong forum for the year.
Get the code set for the transmission and read the description.
It will give you a clue as to what the issue is.
