I have a suggestion on what NOT to replace it with- the Summit Racing-rebranded cheapies. I put one on my truck when I first got it due to it being a straight pipe. Right about a year later, the welds on the muffler failed- and NOT from rust. I'm not talking about where the exhaust pipe welds to the muffler- I'm talking about where the ends of the muffler weld to the body of the muffler- the muffler literally came apart at their own factory welded seam. I spent nearly an hour in nice clothes laying in the dirt trying to unwrap what was left of my exhaust system from around the axle...
