Jardine Exhaust - Yes or NO ??

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...QQcmdZViewItem

Here is a Jardine 4" straight pipe exhaust system for $245.

Is this a good system? I can't decide if I want a muffler or just straight pipe.

I think you will probably want the muffler as well. We all like noise, but I think that without the muffler, it will drive you crazy. The low rumble can also be fatiguing on longer trips.

A friend of mine has that same exhaust on his truck, with a muffler. It looks like it fits real nice, but I still prefer the 5" straight pipe from MKO.

I drove 2500 miles last month with 6" straight piped stacks, sure you could hear them but even driving 19ish hours in a row, it did not get annoying. Even my dad who likes "quiet" did not mind the slight noise. With windows up you won't notice a difference. Especially if the exhaust is exiting out that far at the back of the truck.

I believe that picture is of an exhaust system for a dodge, i was looking at there system when i was shopping. It is a good deal, but i believe it is a 3.5" down pipe till the first bend after the firewall... I went with 4" MBRP straight and never looed back, well except to see soot roll... Just my opinion...
