NP271 Snap rings
Anyone replaced the snap rings on the inside of a NP271 Tranfercase? Im sure I can get them from from Ford but I was wondering if anyone knew of a cheaper or better place online to get them from. All the rebuild kits just have seals and bearings but I need a few of the snap rings that were stretched too far during removal. Thanks.

Probably cheaper after shipping and handling if dealer is close.

Pulled the case apart to install a 29 spline input shaft for my Cummins/NV4500 swap. I did call the local dealer and they said they could get some of them and some of them the could not. I'd have to drive down there and point them out on the screen and might not be able to get the ones I need (wasted trip). Figured I would ask if anyone knew of a place I could get them online.

Good to hear it worked out but wouldn't they just deliver directly to you instead?

Free shipping when picked up at the dealer. Had them sent to a Ford dealer that is on my way home from work.
