The picture of the switch shows that the indicator light is part of the switch assembly.

Unless you're really determined to replace the light, just replace the whole switch.
The switch looks very similar to the 4WD select switch, although the function is different. It does come apart, but there are a spring and a detent ball in there that you can lose if you're not careful. I don't remember an easy way to replace the light. No bulb in a socket - you'll be cutting and soldering, assuming you can find a matching bulb. Too much hassle in my opinion.
