Hello fellow AZ FTE'rs

Just got back home after a weekend of helping my Uncle hunt Elk. Nothing yet, but many close calls. It will happen! Hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving

That it did not Travis.

Time to get to decorating. We picked up a real tree and right now mom and little sister are putting the lights up. I hooked up my stereo and playing some country music and Christmas music.

Well I finally got my butt out to unit 6a today to drag my toyhauler home from Elk camp. What a muddy MESS! I would've done it yesterday, but I was having issues with the boot blowing off the intercooler pipe (several times).

I finally gave in, and took it into the shop. My worm clamp had given out, but they also saw that I had an aftermarket boot from Riffraff diesel, from when i upgraded to a bigger intercooler. The factory intercooler pipe, has a groove in the end of it, and so the factory boot has the same groove to match it so it won't slip. Aftermarket boots don't have that! Even though I've had it on there for 3 years, it finally decided it was time to slip. My mechanic made a custom O-ring that fit into the groove on the intercooler pipe, and basically made a spot for the clamp to NOT slip past......problem solved. And no more side of the highway repairs for ME!

Enjoy your weekend everybody

Hope everyone's doing well, been too busy to get on here much, and to top it off I've been sicker than a dog the last few days...

I'm working on getting my truck registered in this state (finally!), just bothers me that Arizona has stricter emissions laws than the Communist Republic of California! My truck is completely exempt in Cali!

Greg, it is not worth the hassle to get those OLD clunkers licensed in Arizona just sell it (to me) and get something newer!

Haha.....between you and Bill, you guys could have your own Barrett Jackson auction!

I still enjoy the NO emissions testing up here in Flagstaff, I always have saved my muffler for the truck, just in case

What is wrong with having a barrett Jackson auction. LOL
I am so glad up here we don't have to pass emissions because I think the only 3 that would pass is the 04 envoy, 02 F250 and the 07 Harley. The rest would fail miserably except maybe my 88 since it is a non-catylst truck.
