Problem is that the batterys we have aren't holding a charge throughout the night so the generator has to charge the batterys back up at night.
If you have good batteries and don't take a lot of power (which my family does the oppostite on both) it works that way. I just wish I had grid tie.

That engine would be in the 1000 range by the time it got shipped but thanks for showing me.
We found one recently have started working on it but it needs rebuilt. at $120 it wasn't to bad of a deal.

That is a pretty good deal. They are out there. I just picked up a 22r for my 84 toyota crawler. Will have to fix some broken bolts and do a quick regasket and maybe a set of bearings for good measure. That's a good find for you
Afternoon Bill, Bart, Greg, Travis, Mark, Dean, Ray and CRAIG??? I haven't been on here in a month or so and seen his posts all say xxxxzzzzz... so i didn't know if he was still around??
does anyone have a waste oil heater? we have about 100 gallons of waste oil from oil changes. Or I used to use it in the chainsaw instead of bar lube
not good for bar lube. it is not sticky enough to stay on the chain.
there are a couple companies that will pick it up but they normally want large quantities and in drums or tanks where they can vacuum it out.
Hello everyone! Just like Ray, life's been crazy busy lately. I'm getting married in a week up in Yosemite! Also just bought a new Focus for the soon-to-be-Mrs. I've been driving it while she's back home in Cali. It's nice to have something small and fuel efficient! As for the truck, it's running alright, since I have no place to work on it at the apartment I just dropped it off at a shop for an oil change, and while there I noticed she started dripping diesel down the back of the motor so I'm having them take a look at that. Need that thing to be in top shape since I'm driving that up to Yosemite and back. I miss being able to work on it myself! Oh! And I got the BesTop canvas shell on it now. It was definitely a great investment! Filled the bed completely up with her stuff when we brought it out to Scottsdale.
Greg if it is leaking at the pan where the dipstick goes in, I had that happen on mine about 3 years ago, and fixed it with completely cleaning everything spotless with brake cleaner and a wire brush, then using Ultra grey silicone and sealing everything around where it goes into the pan. That option is MUCH cheaper than pulling the pan!
