Any Ball Joint Press Recommendations?

The harbor freight one looks like cheap crap. Anybody know a decent that can has the spacers and where the clamp wont break when using on a one ton?

I usually just rent one from autozone or checkers.

I tried autozone. They dont have the adapters in the set for my ball joints.

I bought mine from Advance.

Also, all the adapters are GENERIC. You have to toy with them to find what works best

No Advance here but there is a CarQuest and they are owned by Advance. I'll check it out.

They should have the adapters to install them. If you are refering to adapters to remove them, I just use a hammer.
My 25 year old OTC bj press has done probably a thousand or more ball joints, using an impact wrench like you're not supposed to do. Id say they are made pretty well.

My Horrible Freight deal has worked OK for me on anything I've used it on. At least that 'quality' Chi-Com iron hasn't broken… yet.
