Im having a terrible time trying to get these out. anybody out there that did one, give me some pointers.

Can't you press them out?

 

Specifically where in the process are you stuck?
Do have one of the C-frame presses designed for pressing out ball joints?

 

I have to admit I had this problem trying to get my spindle off to replace mine. I was beating it in the wrong direction. After about 4 hours of cussing I realized my mistake. Oh well live and learn.. good luck.

 

Like Mr shorty said, you need a specially designed c-frame press to press them out. If you look around, you may even find an automotive part store that will rent you one for little money. If you do go out and get yourself one, Do not get a cheap one. It may break on you. The cheap ones aren't as strong and will break with the right amount of pressure.
