Oh Now I get it... I will use my Instrument cluster from my standard shift cab, (it has the factory tach and no auto indicators on the bottom).
I'm asking about the new tilt column, it is from an auto and the shifter lever on it.
I want to remove the shifter lever and make it look like a standard shift column (with the ZF shifter on the floor) can the auto shifter be taken out? and what to do with the gaping hole?
I converted an non-tilt column from auto to standard, meaning no shift lever. And, I'm probably going to do that with a tilt column I have when Dad's goes back together as I might as well have that bell and whistle too. It can be done. Do you need the drawings?
