I have a 92 F150 that I just purchased. The wipers were skipping across the windshield. I thought they were probably old. Checked and they were cracked and rotted. I purchased new ones and the new wipers do the same thing. On the upstroke they skip and jump. Going down they do better. I cant tell that the wipers have a right or wrong mounting direction. Any ideas? I have thought about buying the more expensive wipers. The windshield is definitely clean and I even coated them with RainX. I know this is minor but it is annoying.
