There's a device that you bolt to your coil springs that upon a twist of a bolt, it will engage your overload springs. Senix tested them out a while back. Not sure if his thoughts.

It's called a StableLoad, and they work well for what they are.

I also tried out a set and they worked pretty well.

I use the Timbren helper springs and so far very happy with them. Unloaded they aren't in use, but when loaded they come into play and really help. I've got a 37' bumper pull trailer that weighs around 12 k lbs with the load equalizing hitch.....stock suspension was a a fun ride, but with the timbrens the rear of the truck only drops about an inch with trailer hooked up. Also don't have to crank the load equalizing bars as tight anymore either.

I bought used, assuming its stock, it has bumpers similar to timbren helper springs, front and back, 3 inch gap bumper to rear axle, 1 1/2 inch gap at front axle, diameter of bumpers is about 3-4 inches. wondering if I can improve on this?
