Brake light on
<hr style="color:#FFFFFF; background-color:#FFFFFF" size="1"> Hi all, I changed out the master cylinder on my 2002 F-150, disk brakes front and back w/ ABS. Bleed all the air out and bench bleed the master cylinder. I have good pedal but the brake light will not go out. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

have you checked codes? is the fluid level ok?

Fluid level is good and no codes. The ABS light functions normally. The red brake light is on....

have you checked the brake pedal switch to see that it didn't get whacked or stuck when you changed the master cyl ?

The switch on the side of the reservoir was not plugged in all the way. Thanks for all the replies....
