We have a 1997 E250 Cargo Van that we are parting out. I can not find what other years and models that we can swap the parts out on. What other years will the motor from the 97 fit into. Will a e250 suspension fit in a e150? Any and all information, links would help so much!!! thank you
'97's had a different style dashboard so up until about 2000 they're almost identical appearance-wise. The internals are common until at least 2009 or the newest style dashboards.
Suspension parts between E150's and E250's won't work because they're different frames. This holds true until 2005 or so when the E150's essentially became E250's.
Are you looking to swap and keep the parts or sell them?
And just what kind of racin' does this Gurl do anway?

We are looking to do both. I believe the 1997 E250 motor, trans, suspension can also be swapped into a 1998 E250. Is that correct?
And I raced imports 1/4 mile!
Well RacerGurl we wanna see you in action with all this---post what cha got por favor!
'97 & '98 should be close enough for swapping. You MIGHT have issues swapping the engine & tranny from one to the other IF you don't swap out the sensors too; IOW the '97 sensors need to remain with the '97 chassis.
Ford was great about changing minor things like pin out circuit locations on their wiring harnesses. Even though they'll look identical and mate up perfectly most likely something will have changed results being the swapped in parts won't work properly.
I learned the hard way on Ford vans just because something physically fits doesn't mean it'll work like it should.
