There's no doubt about it, 03 straight piped turbos are loud. You can't drive anywhere "quietly" with one. But at least they don't sound like some clattery old tractor, like the Dodges.

I went from a 4" TB muffler system on my 6.0...wasnt too loud, to a 5" muffled system...still had too much drone for me...just recently bought a muffler delete and its way better. Louder when you get into it, which is awesome, but theres actually less drone and its quieter on the highway

When I had my 03 straight piped, I made a young child cry when I drove by. It was pretty funny. Another funny time, used to be a tunnel in my town, I loved romping on it through there. Jeep with its roof off was ahead of me one time with 3 young girls riding in it, after i opened it up in the tunnel they were all like "Oh wow!". Turned around and all waved to me, was also pretty funny. I liked driving it more with the factory exhaust back on though.

I fixed my turbo whistle for $100.

I put it in the doors and across rear panel, really improved the sound out of the stereo. Crank it up and the whistle disappears.
