That is cool, but they should contact you first. They did me.

 

What method did they use to contact you?

 

I got an email out of the blue from one guy, cc'ing another, asking a series of questions. I asked them who they were as I'd never heard of them, and discovered one was from BFG and the other from IB. And they explained that I'd been recommended by another IB person for the profile. So I answered the questions, provided some pictures, and they strung the answers together to create the profile.

 

There has been some talk in the mods forum about this type of thing, IB has tasked some guys (Ed Tahaney is one of them) with stimulating discussion (in the tech forums?) about various things, I'm thinking this is one of those.

I personally think it's a cool idea that seems to be working pretty well....
