Upon start up my clock will briefly flash a number a couple numbers before going to the time. What's odd is that these numbers are changing. There is one number in the hour place (lately it has been 4) and one in the minute (gone from 6 up to 9)
Can anyone tell me what they mean or if I should be concerned about them? Clock works fine after they flash for a brief second. I've been trying to watch more closely so see if I can see a pattern.
These aren't any sort of secret decoder-ring codes it's giving you, it's a defective clock. I'd ignore it if it continues to work afterwards but I have to wonder for how long it will remain that way...
Yep its the date that is showing up. Mine does the same thing at start up too. Its been so long I forgot how to set the time and date, have to play around to remember.....
