Purchased an F250 4x4 end of may 03. 1500 miles and now it stalls when stopped. Dealer has had it since 6/26/03. They don't know anymore today than they did when I had it towed in. I wasn't aware that there were any problems until I found this forum. After reading some of the threads I'm not encouraged that I'll see my vehicle anytime soon.
Have new F350 crew cab, 440 km, stalled this morning
driving around town, its at the garage right now, four days ago it was in for reprogramming and a variable geometry turbo failure.
I will let you know what the garage reports to me. The dealership was willing to reverse the purchase this morning but I am giving it another chance.
Heard from the service dept. today (finally, 17 days in the shop). They think it's a "fuel injector pressure sensor". They'll have the part tomorrow, so we'll see.

I'm very nervous about this truck.
Good luck.
You are certainly in the drivers seat, so to speak, but I'd have sold it back to them and ordered a 2004.
I got my truck back the same day it stalled but they could find nothing wrong but they said they reprogrammed AGAIN, and hoped it was fixed. I just got back from a 600 mile trip and it ran great on the hiway but in town when you stomp on it the power seems to be intermittent, sometimes feels great, sometimes very sluggish and like a dead spot of the start. I'm going in tomarrow and will ask about the ICP recall.
Its been three days since its been in the garage, things are looking up!!
