I am in the process of gathering parts to do an SAS on my '89 F250 I have found a few king pin 60's on the web but they are running $900 plus shipping costs for just the axle and steering parts. I have a friend local who has a '96 F350 w/a 60 he has offered me for $250 including all the font end parts I need to do the swap. I am planning to put the truck on 38's or 40's will the ball joint 60 hold up to this?
It's doubtful the truck will ever see any serious off-roading but may do some occasional back to back grudge pulling( with say 33's to help lower gearing). I am planning to go 4.56 gears and a limited slip unit in the front
Just FYI the drivetrain is a stock (for now) 460 backed by a C6 rear is a 10.25 w/Detroit no spin locker and 4.56 gears
Okay thanks guys, I went ahead and told him I would take it. He said I could have The entire front end out from under the truck. I will be going over friday to look at it and make sure they get all the pieces out I want. The SkyJacker lift kit says it comes with the track bar mount or is that just an extension?
If someone would kindly make me a list just so I make SURE I get everything that would be much appreciated.
Yes he is parting the truck and has several others also. My buddy manages a wrecker service and small salvage yard. What are you looking for I'll see if one of the trucks has it.
My '96 F250 steering linkage (drag link, steering link, tire rods) would not work on the D60, I had to buy all new. If his are not sloppy I'd get them too just to get the truck back on the road, then make that a priority to replace. Just collecting the two different sized adjustor sleeves and hardware alone will save you some money.
I don't know about the front transfer yoke, I'll let others more familiar with your year model provide guidance on that.
Driver's side U-Joint bracket, get his U-bolts if you are comfortable reusing them, most here are not:
Track bar and cross member mounted track bar bracket:
F250 springs (on the right), pitman arm (it's longer) and driveshaft (it has a double joint at one end):
Leojr, I will get those for sure, I told him I wanted the front yoke and shaft for sure. I will be getting a drop pitman when I do the lift along with new springs but Will make sure I get the parts you guys have listed. Thanks for the help.

The yoke will do you no good. he has a 4407, you have a 1356 and they are not interchangeable
