Either I am having vision problems OR there does not seem to be a forum dedicated to The King Ranch. If there is one , could someone please direct me to it?
BTW I used the search function and came up with nada.
I noticed that t
here was a seperate forum on another large F150 site and was just curious if there was a similar format here. I have been a member there since I had my Blackwood and was just curious. The king ranch may just be another trim level to some, but this is a truck I have wanted for years so it is very special to me. I just assumed that other owners felt the same way, that the K/R is just not a "truck", its more of a lifestyle choice!

Would be like having a separate forum for each model/trim (and 1 for every year). WHY?

I guess my Chevy custom and Ford XL series trucks were a very sad lifestyle choice then.

Only if you thought of those as nothing but transportation and/or work trucks. If you really appreciated them, then you made a good choice, I guess its all in how you feel about the truck.
Ive always been appreciative of the fact that I can afford a vehicle, insurance and the upkeep involved. I think how a person cares for their vehicles is a reflection of their personality, no matter what type of vehicle it is. I try to keep them in decent/clean condition and excellent mechanical shape as long as possible. That being said all any vehicle is to me is transportation and also a tool at times if it's a truck.
I like to think that guys like me are why the XLT was so popular for so long. An in between of the formerly stripped down XL(not so stripped down anymore) and the higher end Lariat(now also KR,Limited and Platinum's). I like some creature comforts but they are not a super high value item to me. So the price difference for an upper end luxury style truck is not for me.
I'm not knocking your choice. The King Ranch's are very nice trucks and everyone has different wants and needs. I'm glad you're happy with it and that is all that matters. I think most of us are proud of our Ford trucks here(in our own way)and that's why there's no need for seperation of forums by trim level.

I'm also on another F150 forum that has a King Ranch section. The problem with model specific sections is they don't generate much traffic. It's been 8 days since someone has posted in the King Ranch section on the other forum.
Once the owners add a forum, it's not going to be taken away. Internet Brands is trying to keep valuable space for forums that will generate as much traffic as possible.
AHH! Internet brands,,,they tried to buy a website I own and I politely declined. Not sure why they wanted Mercurymarauder.net as it is a comparativley small site limited to a small audience and not a money maker.
