Cruise Control Update...Question
I ran the steering wheel control test that says I need a BPP switch. I put a new switch in...the problem remains. So, I've run the test a few more times, ending with the two flashes on the dash....and the servo under the hood activating.
So, the next thing to do according to Ford is to check voltage on the harness side at the servo. Test read 12 volts. According to Ford, I should then check the ohms on the same circuit. The result is 0...which is less than 5...so Ford says replace the servo.
My concern is that the servo does activate during the steering wheel buttons test...but I'm guessing that some other part of the servos operation is bad.
I should add that the complaint is that the cruise control doesn't stay engaged.
Any final thoughts before I look into a new servo?
