front suspension part

well this is probably a dumb question, and I'm 99% sure I know the answer. but, from outside I can't fully make sure I wanted to see if anyone could tell me for sure before I start the work. this part I picture that holds the front coil and shock on my 10th gen 2wd F-150, I've heard similar parts doing the same job called a couple names such as coil tower, and seen them replaced with available new parts on the OBS fords. but, I've searched looking to replace mine if possible, and I can find no part name or part number anywhere including ford OEM, nor a replacement part. so I've convinced myself this must be an integral part of the frame on these trucks, and I'm stuck with the ones I have, correct?

I would not think that was a "normal wear item" that would be replaced. Over a period of years if 200,000 trucks had this problem, you might have an aftermarket guy making replacement parts... but not OEM. Spring tower or "shock mount" would be two names.

well thanks, but they are available for the OBS trucks etc. generally called a coil tower. they can weaken and especially rust over time. I was hoping for a replacement option especially since I'm about to level the truck .

thanks anyway, I was pretty well sure I had to work with this one. I'll just have to do a little extra fab and repair in the area.

I'd take a look here. They've got just about every OE part you could ever want for these trucks.
