Another UPFITTER Question
Ok- so I found the 4 upfitter wires and the passthrough wires. Stupid question now. I'm trying to install a light bar. Do I need to use the up fitter wire and the passthrough wires? If so how does the connection process work. I have looked on this site and youtube but only found videos showing how to find the wires.

I am gonna power my light from the battery, and use the upfitter and high beam wire to control the bar on/off via another relay or two.
I just hooked up my valve for my aux tank, and readied another passthru for my light. I used a 4 in piece of wire. Put a crimp connector on each end. Then stripped the passthru and upfitter and crimped one each to an end of the patch. (The wires are short so hard to join together when I am down on my knees working under the dash)
