What you ought to do is start by giving them an accurate description of the problem. That's what the tech is trying to diagnose. What does the work order say? .....Customer Comments SQUEALING IN THE MORNING ON FIRST START LAST TWO TO FOUR MINS.
Tech Comments TECH FOUND THAT NOISE IS NORMAL TURBO SOUND, NO PERFORMANCE ISSUES AT THIS TIME.

Vloney, That's about the best I could communicate the problem initially to the writer. The Tech (in conversation w me when I picked it up acknowledged it was an "unusual" noise but indicted it was within acceptable levels (NO idea how he judges acceptable to not acceptable). We'll see on the next go round, I'll even bring a copy of the recording I make.

Nope, it's not intermittent and it's higher pitched. Lasts a couple minutes and gradually fades away. Anxious to get a recording of it cause I suck at trying to describe it!

Have got to say that I'm super impressed that Ford places enough importance on customer service to actually have an employee monitoring AND interacting on a forum like this. (No, I'm not brown nosing)

Robflag were you able to get a recording or better yet find out what was causing the noise?

I did try to get a recording before dropping it back off at the dealer. That time (of course) no noise. I provided a detailed written explanation of the issue and related data. They'll have it till Tue so we'll see then.

Crystal was very helpful. She connected me with the regional folks who have also contacted the dealer. I'm hopeful!
