Have you seen one of these before?

I was going through some pics on my HDD, ran across these and thought I'd share.

This truck was listed on my local CL awhile back. I thought that I took a screen grab with the info...guess not.

From what I can recall, they seller said that it was a factory conversion, very low production numbers.

Here's the pics...

That's somebody's conversion, but I don't think it's factory. Interesting none the less.

Conversion. Looks neat, but you would have seen more of that truck, low production or not if it wasn't.

Cool truck but I doubt it was from the factory. When I used to live in AZ there was a '65 Chevy with an extended cab running around. I thought it was a custom modification.

From what I remember the ad said it was a conversion. It was for sale for a long time in Idaho. I thought it was decently priced.

I've looked for a long time before I bought my 1971 crew cab. mine has 4 doors but while I was looking I saw about 3 of these all of them looked the same with the windows and all I think there was a company that did the conversion for ford.

For sure. The expanding foam insulation by the gas tank is the tip off. Haha

Aftermarket conversion, possibly by Crown Coach. These were built for petroleum and telephone co's. to haul crews to remote locations.

I've seen three 1956 versions, two that have 3 doors, one with just two. All three were at the F100 SuperNationals Truck Show, held in Knoxville TN in May 2008.

The show has since moved to Pigeon Forge TN
