99-04 F250 8" BDS Lift Question About Rear Block

Anyone that has this BDS spring lift on a 99-04, what size rear block did you use to end up level or will I need a block at all? I have done extensive searching and cannot find an answer. My '99 has the 4" block from the factory. Thanks.

Am I going to have to "trial and error" this? Nobody has an 8" BDS kit on a 99-04? I would be grateful for any help.

I have a 6 inch superlift on my 99 all spring, I left the four inch block and yes I have a rake in the rear of about 3 inches, if i went with 2 inch blocks i would be level. Up too you, at first I didnt like it, but the more I drove it i'm leaving it alone.

Looking at bds's web site the 8" kit comes with new leafs front and rear so your most likely going to need the shortest factory block the 2" most lift kits seem to be designed with the 250 rear block in mind. In the tech notes it says you may have to change your rear blocks to be level. If it were me that's the block I would have when installing everything.

Thanks David and Mike. Looks like the 2" block is the way to go with the 8" lift. I added 2" with a shackle/hanger in the front for a total of 10" and used my factory 4" block in the rear. Looks good but I will measure in the morning to make sure. Thanks again.

Measured EXACTLY the same from the pavement to the body line front and back.
