Well the as**oles finally made the news. Inside Edition had an article on tv today showing the idiots rollin coal on pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists stuck in traffic all in the name of protesting the epa. As much as I hate to see it I hope the epa drops the hammer.

The EPA dropping the hammer would not just make their lives hell. They would not stop with just the coal rollers. They would probably crack down on track/off road as well.

Take that up with the coal rollers, they're causing the problems. If not for them it's possible, assuming, we may not be smogging our trucks today.

Nah, California has been fighting diesel idling and exhaust soot forever and specifically targeted Class 8, trash haulers and buses. The light duty diesel pickups just got caught up in the mess.

Josh
With all do respect Josh, the coal rollers aren't commercial trucks doing a job with older vehicles. They're idiots modifying newer trucks to do the same thing.
It's only a matter of time regardless for diesel pickups. It's one thing environmentalists associate as a bad and dirty global warming producing machine. It's a target...

Totally agree but why make the target big enough for Helen Keller to hit.

Cause they can? LOL
I don't like it at all. There was a story I saw not that long ago solely blaming those diesel trucks with stacks. It's a misconception people have of all diesels that is being made worse by the idiots...

I agree with you 100%, so don't support the idiots and if possible report them. I'd have no problem at all doing that. Let the flamming begin. Rollin coal has its purpose and that's on the track, not on the street gassin people out.
I was going to post one of these articles as well - these guys are giving all diesel guys a bad name. The Prius repellant video is a bit funny though. Tons of misinformation in the news stories. I doubt there is any real protest going on - mostly just idiots entertaining themselves.
I like to roll coal! Whenever I see a TV truck I turn around and roll past them so more people will see me on TV. Also it means I have a fast truck with lots of power and a good job to buy lots of fuel. And most importantly, the girls like it! It shows them I have a large unit and would be satisfying in bed and give them many strong children (and the money thing).
Sorry for the troll, couldn't help it. There is something romantic about it from back in the day though. Several truck driving songs mention it. Times have changed I guess....I don't automatically fall in line with the politically correct crowd often but I did pay extra money for an upgraded EGR cooler instead of a delete. I had stayed in a Holiday Inn Express the night before so... Hey,, that reminds me, I'm not supposed to drink and post!
