Close Encouters was set at Devils Tower, been there it is an interesting place, but much different than the movie (of course).

You mean there's no saucers or lights?

would you move?

I have never been east and would like to visit the New England states. I am partial to the mountains and absolutley could not live where there are no forests.
I recently drove from here to Reno to get a T-bucket. From about Amarillo to Kingman Arizona the only place I saw that was fit for humans to live was Flagstaff. I went on up to Port Townsend Washington and on to Alaska from there and I really like most of California and western Oregon and Washington. Next to Alaska I would take northern Idaho or the Black Hills In South Dakota (because my family lives there). Montana and Wyoming both have some great mountains but the Californians are kind of taking over a lot of that and have driven the price of land sky high. Colorado is also pretty nice and you can still find some nice places to live but the granola munchers have too much pull there. I still have a lot of states to investigate.
