Driving down the highway last night and threw a CEL. I've got a SG2 in the truck so I scanned it and it showed 8 codes. When I read them there were only four distinct codes P0261, P0264 and then a C2102 and a C2101. I looked up the P codes and found they were low voltage on the 1 and 2 injectors but have no idea what a "C" code is. From a brief search of the internet no one else seems to know either. After pulling the codes as I was cruising down the highway my SG2 then went lights out. I could get it to come back to life by pushing the "menu" button but it was displaying no information for anything I selected in any of the four positions and then it would time out and go back to sleep. No running problems that I noticed during the drive home. When I got home I cleared the codes and let it cool down for a few hours and decided I would try and start it and it fired up fine. Should I start looking for wire chaffing or is it just a gremlin. I just don't want to wait on something that would be a dead on the side of the rode situation. Additionally, what are these "C" codes if anybody happens to know.
Thanks Eric
Chassis codes if I remember right. C2101 and C2102 aren't listed as being used by Ford, the are Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep codes for high and low system volts and ambient air temp on Toyota.
