vacume leak

No 4x4 checked for vacume leak at hubs no leak where else to look.

I have a Mity Vac with a gauge. I unplugged components and vacuum-checked hoses until I found the culprit.

The system works by receiving vacuum pulses. One pulse pulls the the hubs in and locks, then when you hit the button again the solenoid sends two vacuum pulses to release the hub. These hubs are not servicable. but I have taken them apart and got them to work, the vucuum pump, chamber and solenoid are pretty reliable it's the hubs that are the problem, and not so much the inner and outer seals. the hub it self uses two plastic clips that hold the hub in lock mode, they wear and separate over time. I know the hubs are expensive!!!!!!!! but all the ones I worked on that turned out to be the problem. I have a toolbox full off outer and inner seals, just like the shift tube bushings. Fords have there problems but, still would not trade mine for a chevy anyday.
