Too get the max psi boost you need to put a load on her and nail it. Max on a stock truck should be 28 and the low acceptable around 21. With stock tires on a 4 X 2 my boost cruising at 65 to 70 is about 2 to 3 psi. Pushing those 35's is not doing your mileage any good at all. Everything comes with a trade off including your driving habits. More boost means less mpg's.
You question cant really be awnsered as asked? Do you still have an egr system? Stock exhaust?
The more air you can move the more the boost number will drop.
Norma and stock truck is 28psi max.
Stock is a question asked in engine bay modifications, and not tire size either. If anything, bigger tires will increase load at all ranges, making the turbo work more. I have new 35" treadwright guard dogs on my truck and just was out romping around and i was still hitting 28 PSI on WOT. If you're only seeing 20 or so at WOT you need to either check for leaks and/or inspect the turbo.
Just want to add my mileage is 12 MPG average small trips, to work, groceries etc. Highway is 17-20 depending on headwind/hills etc. Engine is all stock that i know of, just newer stock parts.
I'm stock exhaust and under the hood. WOT....Wide Open Throttle? This might be a dumb question...do you need a tuner to roll coal or other mods? Can a stock truck make any black smoke?

Yes...WOT is wide open throttle
Normally, if a stock truck is "rolling coal"....you have a problem. So technically yes.... a stock truck can do it, but probably not because you want it to.
thanks. My 13yr old son wanted me to roll some black smoke. I couldn't make it happen. Ive only had the truck for 2 months, and finding out It has a few issues. I've changed the oil, need to flush coolant asap. Im replacing rear diff fluid this weekend.
