I am seeing around 18-19 PSI. I do not recall what I had before the EGR delete. I am hear the "hiss" again after I release the throttle under acceleration. Next on the list is clean/rebuild the Turbo. Would a dirty Turbo contribute to lower boost levels? Cheezit mentioned it shouldn't go over 30 PSI, if it does I need to fix it ASAP, but at 18, I'm no where near 30.
My boost gauge is messed up right now. I have read on here that people were complaining they weren't getting higher boost numbers on WOT. That is not higher than 21. So, your 19 on WOT might be lower than what you should expect. Maybe someone will chime in here and give us an idea of what they are seeing on theirs at WOT.
Just read this on another thread, thought you might want to read it.

While this code is set my boost pressure is approximately 6 psi less or about 19 psi at WOT.
As long as I have a fully functioning valve connected whether it is attached to the firewall with a plate in its place or installed in the intake the EGR code is not thrown and boost pressure is at normal levels of about 25 psi at WOT.
My boost pressure also maxes at 25 psi at WOT with a custom tune that has the EGR deleted.
This tells me that my truck only judges EGR flow by how far the EGR valve is open.
I sounds like your about normal. The only way to hit 30PSI is to cruise in the highest gear at say 65mph and then step on it.... Try that your boost will be higher. probably close the 30psi.
You will never hit 30psi shifting through the gears...
I will get approx. 28 pulling 5er in sig. up 8% grade. Let your gauges be your guide on when to slow down and use your gears. The gears are your friend.
Tim (npccpartsman) has been turning some wrenches for me while I'm deployed. My stocker was just removed and replaced with a new Garrett 3788VA, but with just intake, exhaust, and an SCT with ID tunes, I think he said it was making around 29lbs. It has been making that for quite some time (like 35K miles), and I've never had any issues.
The factory boost gauge is sort of ambiguous in the 25 to 30 range. Not a lot of deflection there. With a factory gauge if you are not going past 29 to 30 I would not be too concerned.
