Ok so I just installed a delete kit (not a big name brand a friend of mine installed it and he's installed a bunch of these particular kits no issue) and a new ford oil cooler with ELC coolant. A couple of questions though, since it is an 04 there is no CEL but the fan speed is a little bit haywire (could even be normal but idk and valve is still there plugged in) and my VGT is lower than it was at full temp. However it seems to be running great and a bit louder as I can hear the turbo spooling and a lot of suction and air flow.
Is this all normal? Truck has stock exhaust and tuning.
I read somewhere on here that you will see slightly less boost, which would be VGT%? And your fan speed would be unchanged if the valve is plugged in like prior to the delete, might be worried for nothing. Monitor it if/when temps get 210+ and make sure the fan kicks on

Not worried on fan. That's only on 05-07 MY trucks. And my vgt% at idle are in the 60% range. However it seems to run like it should and I have been told by numerous sources that the MPG will increase a little due to extra power. So is the VGT a problem at the percentage it's at? Because if it is ill need an SCT tuner but I'd go the mildest thing they had because I have stock head bolts.
